One year ago, there was Yeezy Season 1: the introductory collection from Kanye West that took place at New York Fashion Week in a minimal setting with maximum conversation. The event was streamed in theaters, with its follow up, Yeezy Season 2, seeing a similar rollout and even more buzz.
Kanye being Kanye, his next venture is set to be bigger and better in every which way. According to our friends at Nah Right, Yeezy Season 3 will be debuted in theaters much like the previous seasons, but it will also provide the live debut of his new album, SWISH WAVES.
What’s more? The performance artist is doing it all at Madison Square Garden.
For those keeping track at home, “Wolves” and “Fade,” which debuted at Yeezy Season 1 & 2, respectively, will appear on the album as hoped for and will of course be part of the set list.
So far, we’ve heard a few things about Yeezy Season 3. One, it’s supposed to be easier to get. Secondly, it’s supposed to be less expensive (we assume that only pertains to the clothing), and lastly, there is said to be a new model in the 550.
It’s all set to go down on February 11th. NYC residents can keep an eye on this link for ticket info, while those elsewhere can expect to see some good style at each theatre. Keep it locked to Snkrs Day for more details.
