{"id":991756,"date":"2021-07-14T20:57:12","date_gmt":"2021-07-15T01:57:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.snkrsday.com\/?p=991756"},"modified":"2021-07-14T20:57:16","modified_gmt":"2021-07-15T01:57:16","slug":"adidas-common-goal-football-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.snkrsday.com\/adidas-common-goal-football-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"adidas and Common Goal Strive For Change In The Global Football Community"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Global sportswear brand <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=adidas+nice+kicks&amp;oq=&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">adidas<\/a> and Common Goal have come together in an effort to drive change in underprivileged communities, creating a stronger and more opportunistic future through the sport of football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally launched in 2017 when Juan Mata of Manchester United and Spain pledged 1% of his salary to a collective fund, Common Goal has made it their goal to achieve high social impact in needed areas through football. The collective has since grown to over 200 people, with over \u20ac3M generated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together with the adidas Football Collective, the duo has prepared a three year initial partnership. They&#8217;ll support local communities around the globe through the proceeds of adidas football sales, of which 1% will be donated to the charitable cause.
