Argonaut<\/a>\u00a0Cycles<\/strong> just rolled out a custom\u00a0Air Jordan 4<\/a>\u00a0\u201cFire Red\u201d paint job<\/strong> of their flagship RM3 carbon fiber road bike<\/strong> at the\u00a0ENVE Builders Round Up Open House and Grodeo<\/a>\u00a0for former pro cyclist Christopher Jones. Chris worked with Argonaut painter Mauricio Caballero to design a paint scheme referencing the Tinker Hatfield designed Air Jordan 4 in White\/Fire Red\/Black.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While at first it looks like a tastefully painted road bike, details like the mesh netting design on the top tube, \u201cR M 3\u201d heel tab logo behind the seatpost, wing lace water bottle cages, and color breaks around the crankset and front fork reminiscent of the Jordan 4 midsole shapes key in on the sneaker design elements. Flip the bike over and you\u2019ll even find a hidden Jumpman logo<\/a> ghosted on the bottom bracket. Rounding off this American-made carbon fiber bike are some of the finest racing components including Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 and ENVE cockpit and wheelset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
