Footlocker<\/a> introduced its Leading Education & Economic Development (LEED) initiative in June 2020. They have released an annual update on the company’s $200 million, 5-year commitment to support the Black community via education and economic development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In year 1, Footlocker has invested $35 million in Black organizations and communities across the nation and also launched various initiatives to support Black businesses. $10 million has been invested in Black creators and brands as well as 45 new partnerships, $3 million in a multi-city grant program to invest in BIPOC communities and to empower youth, and investing in 6 Black-owned VC firms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
