Jordan Brand<\/a> has finally unveiled Zion Williamson<\/a>\u2019s first signature silhouette, aptly dubbed the Jordan Zion 1<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highly-anticipated signature model, inspired by Williamson\u2019s game and unique star power, will debut in four vibrant colorways reminiscent of superhero armor. First up the \u201cGen Zion\u201d option sports a black and white outfit accented with tribal patterns on the inner liner. This will be the first drop of Williamson\u2019s lineup. Next up the purple and blue \u201cZNA,\u201d multi-colored \u201cNoah,\u201d and vibrant pink \u201cMarion,\u201d will release near the end of May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe knew that one of Zion\u2019s main inspirations for the look of the shoe was superhero armor,\u201d explains Vianney de Montgolfier, Senior Footwear Designer, Jordan Sport. \u201cWhen we thought about an icon or symbol that could clearly draw out the shoe\u2019s benefits, the \u201cZ\u201d made perfect sense to us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of construction, the Jordan Zion 1<\/strong> comes equipped with a full-length Air Strobel and Zoom Air unit underneath the forefoot for energy-returning stability. Elsewhere, a forefoot band and re-engineered traction pattern provide a secure and responsive feel on the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with the Jordan Zion 1<\/strong>, a range of matching apparel will coincide with the drop. All items will be available to purchase via Jordan Brand\u2019s online store.<\/p>\n\n\n
