This week brought us a number of nice sneakers from a number of brands. While the world is consumed with a certain “Infrared” Pack today, a lot of other great shoes have made appearances on the web since last weekend.<\/p>\n

Matt Halfhill<\/strong><\/p>\n \n At last, at last, at last!<\/p>\n Finally I can scratch one of my grails off the bucket list. It was nearly 7 years ago that I was able to get my hands on a pair of White\/Infrared VIs, but not being able to wear such a beautiful thing has been torture.<\/p>\n I was somewhat disappointed when I first heard about the White\/Varsity Red AJ6’s and even devised a plan to customize them to being Infrared, but thankfully JB released the Infrared Pack.<\/p>\n White\/Infrared 6’s – my favorite pair of kicks of 2010 (so far).<\/p>\n Air Jordan 6 White\/Infrared<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Allison Halfhill<\/strong><\/p>\n As a certifiable Air Max head, my jaw literally hit the floor when I saw these in person a few weeks ago. The colors are so clean; even if it were an all canvas upper I would rock these, but with the combination of canvas, nubuck and pony hair, these are a must have addition to the closet. Rumor has it a little shop in Austin, TX will have these come Fall…<\/p>\n Nike Air Max 1 Crepe Sail<\/p>\n <\/p>\n George Kiel III<\/strong><\/p>\n Besides the “Jones Beach” Nike Air Force 1, there hasn’t been another Air Force 1 that has caught my eye. Yet, I am really looking forward to this “Hiking Boot” Nike Air Force 1 Grey<\/strong>. I actually saw these on a Nike representative’s foot eight months ago in LA and wanted them ever since. There’s nothing exciting about it, and that’s the way I like my shoes. It still features some nice, distinctive elements such as the perforated swoosh and the boot-lacing construction. Simple yet stylish!<\/p>\n Nike Air Force 1 Premium Grey “Hiking Boot” Alex Kroviak<\/strong><\/p>\n It’s hot here in Austin during the Summer and that means it’s time to bring out some Vans. I’m a big fan of these Zapato Del Barcos<\/strong>, because they’re simply perfect. They’re clean, use quality materials and have just the right amount of detail to separate themselves from your standard mall pickup.<\/p>\n Vans Zapato Del Barco “Tortoise Shell” Kobe getting his fifth ring is a special moment in history. The simple but arresting nature of the Photo Blue upper over a simple black midsole makes for a clean sneaker and I’m definitely after a pair of these Zoom Kobe Vs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Nike Zoom Kobe V “Miles Davis”<\/p>\n This was really a no brainier for me. I get the best of both worlds, like Jay-Z and R. Kelly, with an Air Force One made of Foamposite material. Now if Nike makes it in a low top, my dreams would really come true.<\/p>\n Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite<\/p>\n Although I could see how glow-in-the-dark materials on a sneaker could be considered tacky, I feel like Nike did a great job with this particular pair of Air Max Hyperizes<\/strong>. The black midsole provides a clean break between the glow in the dark material used on the upper, and again on the sole. It’s common to see glow in the dark used in more classic sneakers such as Dunks, but I’m really feeling the look on this more up-to-date sneaker.
