Whew, what a year so far! We are now almost halfway into 2010 and some of the better sneaker releases we have witnessed in a very long time are behind us already. Specifically, the “Copper” Foamposites, the “Silver Anniversary” Air Jordan 11s, a slew of OG Air Max runners (Air Max 95, Air Max 1), and the “Jones Beach” Nike Air Force 1 are just a few that come to mind. However, we are in for multiple treats in regards to sneaker releases for the next six months.<\/p>\n

Obviously, the majority of you are impatiently anticipating the Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” Pack this Saturday; yet, what others sneakers should we be on the lookout for?? There will be a few Air Jordan sneakers from the signature line, a couple of classic Nike Basketball retros and another Snkrs Day collaboration sneaker! 14. Air Jordan 9 “Citrus”

The Air Jordan 9 has already released in three colorways so far in 2010; however, there are many more Air Jordan 9 colorways ahead of us. Surprisingly, a large number of you stated that this will be the best Air Jordan 9 to release in 2010. With that said, where does the Air Jordan 9 “Citrus” rank amongst all of the Air Jordan 9s ever produced?<\/p>\n

Who else thinks of Scottie Pippen when seeing this iconic basketball sneaker? Although it wasn’t in Pippen’s signature line, he was the player most associated with this sneaker. The return of the Nike Air More Uptempo will make us quickly forget about the recently-released Nike Air Max A Lot (ughhh). This black\/white colorway, along with a blue\/white-orange will release this holiday season; this will be a superb winter basketball sneakers for you basketball players, right?<\/p>\n

If you fast forward 16 years from the 1994-released Nike Air Go LWP, you’ll see another Penny Hardaway-associated sneaker that seems to be well-received by many. The Nike 1\/2 Cent first debuted in the spring of 2009 donning a royal blue\/black color scheme. Since then, it has released in metallic silver\/black, black\/black and black\/spark green. Although the latter three colorways didn’t garner as much hype as the original Nike 1\/2 Cent, these “Cranberry” and “Eggplant” 1\/2 Cent colorways will definitely be a hit during the holiday season of 2010. Is it safe to say that anything dressed in “Eggplant” Foamposite material is a hit?<\/p>\n

Fresh off of the “Jones Beach” Nike Air Force 1 re-release, this “Hamptons” version is sure to be must-have amongst Air Force 1 addicts. Inspired by the villages in the towns of Southampton and East Hampton, this Air Force 1 features a map of the vacation hot spot on the bottom of the translucent outsole. It also contains a primarily pearly white patent leather base with an ‘H’ appearing on the tongue tag. Although it owns a very simple look, it will definitely be one of the top five Air Force 1 releases of the year.<\/p>\n

Much like the aforementioned Nike Air More Uptempo and Scottie Pippen, the legendary Nike Air Go LWP (Light Weight Performance) was not officially apart of Penny Hardaway’s signature line. Yet, sneaker heads and basketball fans undoubtedly associate this sneaker with Lil’ Penny. The Nike Air Go LWP was one of the first basketball sneakers Hardaway laced up when he entered the NBA. It features a primarily black-colored upper with various white and blue accents including the famous ‘Flight’ logo on the side panels.<\/p>\n

Nike Sportswear frustrated us with tweet teases for an extended period of time over the past month. However, they finally introduced their mystery sneaker in the form of the Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite. Fusing two classic, iconic sneakers doesn’t always equal out to a success; however, this particular conjugation is superb according to many of you. The Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite will be a late summer snag for a lot of you come August.<\/p>\n

Two years ago, the Nike Hyperdunk stood above all other basketball sneakers as many were enamored by its player-friendly attributes such as the flywire technology and Lunar sole. Yet, the soon-to-be-released Nike Hyperdunk 2010 will supposedly make you forget the original Nike Hyperdunk existed. In detail, it seems as if Nike has mastered the flywire technology and have laced this sneaker more performance-ready elements. Look for this sneaker, along with another soon-to-be-released Nike Basketball sneaker (hint, hint) to take over hardwoods worldwide this year.<\/p>\n

Sneakers such as the “Neon” Air Max 95s, Nike Air Max 1 White\/Varsity Royal-Netural Grey, the “Slate” Air Max 95 and the “Neon” Nike Air Max 24\/7 have undoubtedly been an Air Max addicts fantasy during the first half of the year. However, we are all in anticipation of one of the best running sneakers to date in the form of the “Infrared” Nike Air Max 90. Obviously, the soon-to-be-released, two-sneaker Air Jordan 6 pairing is not the only Infrared sneaker on our minds.<\/p>\n

In 2009, Nike frustrated many by only releasing it in limited quantities at select retailers leaving many empty-handed. However, its 2010 release will be more attainable as a higher quantity will surface.<\/p>\n

While some may love its new colorway and others may despise, it is safe to say 99.9999% of you have been feigning for this particular colorway to return. News broke of this sneaker returning in mid-March to many people’s excitement, and we expect it to be one of the most coveted of 2010…along with another Air Jordan 13 (hint, hint).<\/p>\n

Sure, Rajon Rondo has did a lot for the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse, but you will get to do just as much seeing that Nike is set to release this sneaker very soon. It has already been labeled the lightest basketball sneaker ever created and will be the only sneaker in Nike’s recent ‘Hyper’ series not to possess the ever-so-popular flywire technology. Nevertheless, it is destined to take over basketball courts across the world along with the aforementioned? Nike Hyperdunk 2010.<\/p>\n

However, you will get the chance to obtain this sneaker again as Jordan Brand is set to release the “Flint” Air Jordan 13 during the holiday season of 2010. Is this the best Air Jordan 13 ever created? Oh yeah, don’t be mad if you see someone with the “Flints” on right now; your time will come.<\/p>\n

The Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” confirmation came at the beginning of the year and ignited a comment craze. Is this easily the most anticipated sneaker of 2010? Yes!<\/p>\n
