Since Dan Mullen arrived in Gainesville, the Florida Gators have developed a winning culture that spans multiple accomplishments. One of those accomplishments was their equipment sponsorship brought about by Jordan Brand. Within the past few years, Jordan Brand has hooked up the University of Florida with several coveted PEs, including this recently displayed Air Jordan 5.

Having received Player Exclusive Air Jordan 1s and Air Jordan 4s, the Air Jordan 5 was a natural selection for UF. In traditional Gator fashion, this elephant print AJ5 is offered in the Swamp’s signature Orange and Blue. The tongue displays the iconic Gator logo, while the heel displays the just as iconic Nike Air logo.

Unfortunately, we don’t expect this Air Jordan 5 “Gators” PE to release anytime soon, but at least we can admire the photos. Hopefully, the public can receive a rerelease of this pair soon. Like the Gators, the University of Oklahoma and the University of North Carolina have received their own Air Jordan 5 PEs.
