As part of its A-ZX series<\/a>, adidas<\/a> today has unveiled what the letter \u201cT\u201d stands for: Torsion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by the Torsion bar spotlighted on all the outsoles of adidas\u2019s ZX<\/a> silhouette, along with others, the forthcoming adidas ZX 5000 \u201cTorsion\u201d<\/a><\/strong> is aptly injected with the label\u2019s rich heritage. In terms of color scheme, the sneaker boasts a bold yellow outfit, which covers the entirety of the Kevlar-crafted upper. This also happens to be the same material used on the original Torsion bar. Elevating the overall look are hits of contrasting black arrive on the outsole, laces, tongue tab, and heel cage. Final details include \u201cTorsion\u201d verbiage and the model number on the tongue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a little background, the Torsion system runs from the heel to the forefoot, and allows the sole unit to move freely due to its flexible properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interested readers will be able to pick up the adidas ZX 5000 \u201cTorsion\u201d<\/strong> when they drop at select retailers and adidas.com\/a-zx<\/a> on January 22. The pair will retail for $140.<\/p>\n\n\n
