After news broke out of adidas Originals<\/a>\u2019s plans to turn its iconic Stan Smith<\/a> silhouette into a 100% eco-friendly option<\/a>, the Three Stripes is set to release a special recycled iteration featuring Kermit the Frog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forthcoming Kermit the Frog x adidas Stan Smith<\/strong> is made from recycled materials using the label\u2019s Primegreen system. This model features a white leather upper elevated with contrasting \u201cLime Green\u201d accents found on the Stan Smith branded tongues, outlining Kermit the Frog, and as an embossed \u201cKermit\u201d on the lateral panel. Instead of the signature \u201cStan Smith\u201d branding on the heels, the motto \u201cIt\u2019s not easy being green\u201d appears. Rounding out the overall look is a white rubber midsole and outsole combo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
