Sole Purpose was founded by high school students Ross Brodsky and Alex Goldenberg after witnessing an act of kindness by a jogger who took off his sneakers and gave them to a homeless man during his run. Since that moment, the students have given away more than 1,300 pairs of shoes and nearly 7,000 pairs of socks, with a goal of donating 2,000 pairs of shoes and 10,000 pairs of socks by December 31, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
