Basketball sneakers have come a long way since classic designs such as the Converse One Star were thought of as the most technologically advanced kicks to hit the hard wood. Since its debut, Converse has updated the quality and materials of this timeless classic but kept the same shape and feel. The “Made in Japan” line, which will release later this year, will feature simple colorways that use premium materials.

There are five colorways used for the “Made in Japan” line. The first two both feature white leather uppers with blue accents. However, one of them uses straps instead of laces. Two other pairs utilize red and blue uppers with black accents, respectively. The last two pairs use a more monochromatic approach, as they rely on black patent and metallic silver leather for their uppers.
