Having already collaborated with some of the biggest creatives in both the fashion and art worlds, California footwear giant Vans<\/a> is once again tapping New York’s Museum of Modern Art for a range that celebrates four iconic artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Each of the silhouettes spotlighted in the upcoming MoMA x Vans<\/strong> range has been inspired by the works of Faith Ringgold, Edvard Munch, Jackson Pollock, and Lyubov Popova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Each of the aforementioned artists\u2019 work is spotlighted on a signature Vans model. First up, Munch\u2019s world-famous 1895 painting The Scream<\/em> has been superimposed on the Vans Era<\/a>, while Jackson Pollock\u2019s One: Number 31<\/em> from 1950 appears on the Authentic<\/a>. Next up Lyubov Popova\u2019s Untitled<\/em> work from 1917 is featured on the Sk8-Hi<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Finally, Faith Ringgold, the only living artist, collaborated with Vans and MoMA to create a reworked Era that spotlights her Woman Free Yourself<\/em> and Freedom Woman Now<\/em> paintings and a Classic Slip-On<\/a> influenced by her Seven Passages to a Flight.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Look for the MoMA x Vans<\/strong> range to release on November 11 via the Vans webshop<\/a> and MoMA\u2019s site<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n
