The recent and unfortunate deaths of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd are the latest instances of the police brutality taking the lives away of Black people in America. The travesties have resulted in protests, brands donating money, and athletes further using their platforms for Black Lives Matter.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the WNBA season, the Phoenix Mercury formally announced their plans to remember and celebrate Breonna Taylor,\u00a0the Black emergency technician who was fatally shot by Louisville, Kentucky police officers.<\/p>\n<p>Take a look at the shoes and jerseys that Brittney Griner and Brianna Turner will wear this season.
