Originally unveiled during Dior’s Fall 2020 Runway show in December of last year, the collaborative Dior x Air Jordan 1 sneaker instantly became one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Having been pushed back a few times, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Dior x Air Jordan 1<\/strong> finally released over the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture, Pietro Beccari, five million people signed up to buy the Dior Air Jordan 1<\/a>s, who confirmed the numbers with WWD<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Only 8,000 pairs of both the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High<\/strong> ($2,200) and Dior x Air Jordan 1 Low<\/strong> ($2,000) were made available, while an additional 5,000 pairs were given out to Dior’s top clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you weren’t able to get your hands on a pair, the Jordan Dior apparel capsule is set to release on July 8 at Dior boutiques around the world.
