The Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” will forever be attributed to his Airness and the beginning of the dynasty that would become the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan himself. The Last Dance docu-series has created a feeling of nostalgia that has culminated in a Jordan craze, which includes the AJ1.

From specific AJ1 colorways skyrocketing on places like StockX and GOAT to an overwhelming demand of more Jordan content, the Bulls’ documentary has been a pulse of electricity for anything and everything Jordan related. A game-worn and autographed Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” via the man himself was recently auctioned off towards the end of the documentary.

The pair set the record for the highest sale of a shoe with a price tag of $560,000. The prior record-holder was the Nike “Moon Shoe” that sold for $437,500 back in July 2019.

Take a look at the auctioned-off pair below courtesy of auction house Sotheby’s.
