PUMA and Def Jam have once again teamed up on a Public Enemy collection, this time utilizing the Clyde and Sky LX silhouettes.

Over on the PUMA Clyde, the model is crafted from supple red suede, while hits of contrasting black dresses the Formstrip and heel. Paying homage to Public Enemy’s renowned third album Fear of a Black Planet, which released 30 years ago on April 10, 1999, the sneaker boasts “Fear of a Black Planet” branding on its off-white midsole. Finally a gold embossed “PUMA Clyde” marks the lateral mid-panel.

On the other hand, the retro high-top PUMA Sky LX nods to Chuck D’s “Fight the Power.” Sporting an all-white leather construction, hits of red come in on the Formstrip, ankle strap, perforated toe box, outsole and heel tab. Additionally, “Fight the power” wording printed in red, and a PUMA x DEF JAM label at the tongue round out the overall look.

Both the Public Enemy x PUMA Clyde and Public Enemy x PUMA Sky LX will be available to purchase on April 9 via select PUMA retailers and puma.com. The PUMA Clyde retails for $90 and the PUMA Sky LX for $140.
