Vans is the latest to join a long list of companies that are shifting their efforts to provide services and support for the many businesses that have been affected by the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Today the California-based apparel brand has launched a customization program through its existing Vans Customs platform called “Foot The Bill.” Vans states the initiative will support 80 small, independent businesses across the world. Since launching, 30 skate shops, restaurants, and other community-driven spaces located in the United States have designed their own Classic Slip-On or Era, which are now available to purchase via the Vans Customs platform.

All of the proceeds made from the designs will go directly towards these independent partners. “My father Paul Van Doren always said that we were a people company that made shoes,” said Steve Van Doren, son of Vans’ founder and Vans’ Vice President of Events and Promotions in an official press release. “We were once a small business and wouldn’t be where we are today without the support of these partners. We hope to rally together with our consumers to lend a helping hand to those that are in need.”

Each design of the “Foot The Bill” capsule will be limited to 500 pairs only. Once they are sold out, they will no longer be available. Head over to Vans.com for the full catalog and to purchase your favorite design now. The program is set to expand over the next month and will be available to purchase on Vans’ website in Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, the Netherlands, United States and The United Kingdom.
