The long wait is over, Nike Basketball has officially debuted Kevin Durant’s latest signature sneaker, the Nike KD 13<\/strong>, set to release in six different colorway options.<\/p>\n

Marking Durant’s 13th signature silhouette with the Swoosh, the updated models will be dressed in a \u201cBlack\/White,\u201d \u201cPlanet of Hoops,\u201d \u201cHype,\u201d \u201cChill,\u201d \u201cHome Team,\u201d and “Bred” makeup. Each of the aforementioned colorways will boast a double-stacked Air Zoom setup and a full-length Air Zoom cushioning unit.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe intent behind a Zoom Bag is similar to that of a mechanical spring underfoot,\u201d says Ross Klein, Senior Creative Director for Nike Basketball in an official press release<\/a>. \u201cThe essence of a spring is to return the amount of energy you put into it. In the KD13, we\u2019re doubling the spring in the form of the double-stacked forefoot Zoom, allowing you more travel in the system and more energy back.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Nike KD 13<\/strong><\/a> will begin rolling out on April 6 with the global release of the \u201cBlack\/White\u201d and \u201cPlanet of Hoops\u201d colorways, the latter will release in China exclusively. The \u201cHype\u201d style releases April 10 in North America, followed by the \u201cBlack\/White\u201d North American release on April 17. \u201cChill\u201d will release in North America on April 24, while the \u201cHome Team\u201d edition will release on May 1 followed by the \u201cBred\u201d colorway on June 1.
