Lately, SN’EADS creator REE has been incorporating certain happenings in his sneaker-related comic strips. The last SN’EADS installment, dubbed “Sneaker Friends 2010”, focused on a specific moment at the ever-so-popular sneaker event. However, the latest SN’EADS installment is centered around the 2010 NBA Playoffs and a certain sneaker we have seen throughout our Kicks On Court.

This SN”EADS episode begins with Oklahoma City teammates Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook supposedly watching game 3 of the Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Lakers series. After Amar’e scores 42 points, Durant tells Westbrook that Amar’e played really good because he was wearing his second signature sneaker, the Nike KD II. However, Westbrook then notifies Durant of something else that happened in those KD IIs. Hit the jump to see what Durant does next. Will Durant look out for Amar’e even if it involves the burning of his shoes?

Also, follow Ty on Twitter? at @SneadsByRee for frequent updates, and check out some of his previous work at tyree-dillihay.blogspot.com.
