The impact of Kentucky Basketball within the NBA is undeniable. Coach Calipari and Big Blue Nation have created a dynasty with the slate of blockbuster names who have gone pro. From Anthony Davis to Devin Booker, the Bluegrass Kingdom is in a league of its own.<\/p>\n

Recently, the latest wave of Wildcats in the league are making a name for themselves. Keldon Johnson, Tyler Herro and PJ Washington are continuing the legacy they stemmed and excelled from.<\/p>\n

We had the chance to catch-up with the PJ Washington<\/strong> of the Charlotte Hornets and discussed some of his favorite kicks on and off the court. Air Jordan 3 “White Cement”<\/h1>\n

PJ Washington:<\/strong> One of my favorite shoes right now is the Air Jordan 3 \u201cWhite Cement.\u201d Honestly, that\u2019s probably my favorite shoe of all-time. I\u2019ve been rocking that colorway since I can remember. I feel like the Jordan 3 model is slept on. It\u2019s comfortable. You can wear it with anything making it an everyday shoe. All around, it\u2019s a great shoe.<\/p>\n

Air Jordan 11 “Playoffs”<\/h1>\n

PJ Washington:<\/strong> The Air Jordan 11 \u201cPlayoffs\u201d are up there for me too. When you think of Jordans, that\u2019s what you think of. That pair has always been one of the ones I wanted growing up. Once I got a pair of those, I didn\u2019t even wear them for a while since I didn\u2019t want them to get creased or anything. You definitely have to watch out when you\u2019re wearing them. I love them.<\/p>\n

PJ Washington:<\/strong> I\u2019ve been wearing the Nike Zoom Freak 1 a lot. It\u2019s comfortable and light as well. I feel like it fits my play well. It\u2019s a great shoe. I\u2019m just excited to get more colorways.<\/p>\n

Nike Zoom Kobe 5<\/strong><\/h1>\n

PJ Washington:<\/strong> The Nike Zoom Kobe 5s are big for me right now. I\u2019m a big fan of all of the colorways. I\u2019ve been rocking some for a while but they\u2019re starting to get worn out. I\u2019m getting another shipment soon. I always have to have some new ones. I need all my basketball shoes to be light. This is one of the best ones from his line. It has a lot of grip and has some great colorways. It\u2019s one of my favorite hoop shoes of all-time.<\/p>\n

Nike Kyrie 6<\/h1>\n

PJ Washington:<\/strong> I\u2019ve been wearing the Nike Kyrie 6 a lot as of late. I have like six or seven different pairs of them. I\u2019ve actually been wearing them on and off the court. I like to switch it up. The shoe has a ton of grip and it\u2019s comfortable. It\u2019s pretty light too. It\u2019s all you need in a basketball shoe. I\u2019ve liked the colorways that have been rolling out as well.<\/p>\n
