Earlier today, we created a Footwear Faceoff between Ray Allen and his backcourt teammate Rajon Rondo (Rondo is currently winning; place your votes now by clicking here). Now, we have spotted another nice sneaker battle between two up-and-coming rappers, namely Drake and Wale.

Drake performed at the University of California at San Diego’s 2010 Sun God Festival while wearing the Air Jordan 8 Retro “Ray Allen”. This particular Air Jordan 8 Retro features a black colored base with minimal green hints to coincide with the Boston Celtics jerseys. If you recall, this sneaker released in limited quantity a couple of years ago. As for D.C. rapper Wale, he sported the “Air Attack” Nike Air Total Max Uptempo in an all-purple colorway. We have only spotted four “Air Attack” Nike Air Total Max Uptempo colorways up to this point, and Wale’s are arguably the best. Yet, are they good enough to reign over Drake’s Air Jordan 8 Retro “Ray Allen” in today’s Footwear Faceoff?

**Note**: Participate in our newly-designed Footwear Faceoff voting poll below and choose whose basketball sneakers you liked more.
