When the Nike Zoom Kobe V first debuted, it was confirmed that Kobe would be sticking with a low cut on his signature models. Ergo, it should come as no surprise that the ZKVI and/or its MS II off-shoot will also be of the Low variety.

This is the first look we’ve had of any Zoom Kobe VI model, though much of this sneaker is likely to change. The lack of Flywire present along the sides could be because these are samples, but could also mean that these are the “Zoom Kobe MS II”. The overall shape is very similar to previous Kobe models, and the shape of the sole forefoot and heel cup are clearly inspired by the those on the Zoom Kobe V. The leather upper’s toe area shows a snakeskin print, which is of course a nod to Kobe’s “Black Mamba” nickname. If this is in fact the Zoom Kobe VI and doesn’t change much, do you see yourself grabbing a pair?
