More often than not, when speaking of the Golden State Warriors historic run and the many accolades they’ve collected over the past several seasons, no one mentions former head coach, Mark Jackson. Before Steve Kerr took the wheel and the steered the ship towards greatness, Jackson first put it on course for its end destination.<\/p>\n
Steph Curry will never forget how instrumental Jackson was for the team and himself. Jackson’s wisdom, words and confidence in Curry helped strengthen his path to greatness. During Curry’s fourth season, in 2012, following a Warriors practice, Jackson told Curry something that always stuck with him: “You can be an all-time great if you really put your mind to it.” Steph took those words to heart.<\/p>\n
