Rhuigi Villase\u00f1or’s Rhude<\/strong> clothing label has been on a tear as of late, bringing contemporary styles with a classic twist into the menswear market by bridging the gap between luxury and streetwear.<\/p>\n

After recently releasing the V1 Low style that’s based on the aesthetic of a classic pair of Vans, but with elegant and worn-in details, Rhuigi has already taken to Instagram to debut the brand’s second silhouette – the Recess Hi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Based on the shape of retro basketball styles, the first iteration of the Recess Hi has been previewed with a premium white leather upper with metallic red accents throughout that eventually crack with wear to reveal more of the underlying fabric.<\/p>\n

The shoe’s Dunk-like toe box and outsole are complemented with a yellowed midsole for a vintage aesthetic, while the brand’s Rhude lettering has been embroidered on the heel. Additionally, the shoe’s lacing system is designed to wrap around the collar, which mimics the way basketball players of the late ’80s used to lace their shoes to enhance ankle support.<\/p>\n

The Rhude Recess Hi<\/strong> doesn’t have a release date ye, but stay tuned for the Italian crafted basketball sneaker’s release details on Rhuigi’s Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n
