Travis Scott could make a compelling case for the most influential man in sneakers right now.

While the size, scale, or SKUs associated with his name don’t measure up to Mike, LeBron, or his mentor Kanye, young La Flame has made sure to deliver the heat over the last few years with a slew of sneaker collabs.

Originally signed to Reebok during his mixtape come-up, his partnership with the vector did not make for any co-branded releases but did set the foundation for the endorsement work he’d do in the future with Nike, Helmet Lang, and of course Jordan Brand.

Riffing off Raf Ozweegos perhaps in regards to color blocking, the unreleased Travis Scott x Jordan Trunner LX saw La Flame’s early induction to Jordan Brand.

“I didn’t want to do anything traditional,” said Travis when speaking on his first collab. “I’ve never seen the Trunner with so many colors on it. I wanted something different; to see that model differently.”

Release Date: December 5, 2017

Releasing alongside Air Force 1 collabs from the likes of Don C and Rocafella Records, the Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1 Low may go down as the most sought after sneaker from the AF1’s white-on-white relaunch.

Worn by Travis on the regular, the Nike Boy displayed the same DIY ethos introduced by Virgil on many an Off-White collab with nods to La Flame heating up this release.

The shoes made for a great creative canvas, allowing wearers to swap and invert modular branding. Even better, some sneakerheads dyed their pair to include Travis. The tie-dye takes are pretty sick, too.

Retailing for $225, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 “Cactus Jack” saw an homage to the Oilers. Releasing as the first official JB collab from La Flame, the brand celebrated Scott in Houston with a special Cactus Jack Carnival.

History will tie this shoe to its two unreleased counterparts, but it’s also been related to the “Raptors” Air Jordan 4 previously associated with Drake.

With this collab, Travis joined the likes of KAWS, Eminem and UNDFTD as entities to have an AJ4 release.

Is the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 “Purple Suede” the best collab from the young artist? We just might have to say ‘yes.’

Sadly, they’ve never released.

Travis and his DJ Chase B have been seen rocking them on the regular with few other friends or family members even having access to a pair.

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 “Olive” was actually the first of La Flame’s AJ 4s to leak.

Worn by his boo Kylie Jenner, the shoe also dubbed as “Khaki” or “Dark Grey” is once again only made for those in his inner circle.

Pairs have popped up on the likes of Scott and Sheck Wes, varying in heel branding and midsole blocking.

Once again they came with removable branding, making these a fun wear for fans of all ages.
