While many brands are sending out the bright colorways and neon colors for the Summertime, New Balance has elected to use a more neutral approach for this part of their lineup. A 996, 997 and 587 have each been done up and are available now at select retailers, including David Z.

The 998 relies on a grey suede majority, while a deep blue mesh appears on the toe box and tongue. Navy is used on the heel liner and other key accent points, as well. Navy leather is put to work on the 587, while grey mesh fills out its upper. Bits of 3M help reflect light but draw attention. The third sneaker in the group, the 996, is the darkest pair, as black leather and dark grey suede are the majority materials. Which of these three is your favorite New Balance for the hotter months?
