In case you were wondering, Penny Hardaway is very much still the man.

Serving as the head coach of his alma mater, Memphis, the Tigers top dog is doing things his way and doing it well.

While the Tiger team has the basketball world at their attention thanks to their world-class recruiting and world-famous coach, the sneaker world is also watching Hardaway’s moves as he’s been dripping in Nike nostalgia at practice and in the team’s promotional videos.

Following a recreation of the famed “Freestyle” commercial, Coach Penny pulled up to practice in a pair of Off-White socks and a PE pair of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Hey Penny” that previously only released in kid’s sizes. The shoes are based off the promotional Lil Penny poster and commercials that ran during the ’90s.
