Since the 2010 NBA Playoffs began, many critics and fans have stated that Denver Nuggets shooting guard JR Smith has been a no-show. So, what could possibly get Smith out of this funk that he’s in? JR took a break from his many Nike Zoom Kobe V iDs and laced up a sneaker in another player’s signature line. The result? Smith scored 17 points, his best outing since game 1 in the Utah vs Denver series. Check out today’s Kicks On Court to see what Smith laced up last night.

JR Smith stored the Kobe V iDs in his locker and pulled out the recently-released Nike LeBron VII P.S. in its black/red colorway. Obviously, this sneaker does not coincide with the Denver Nuggets jersey color-wise; however, Smith added university blue shoelaces for some kind of coordination. If you recall, LeBron James has worn two different colorways of the Nike LeBron VII P.S. since the playoffs began. View these kicks plus more worn by Brandon Jennings, Carmelo Anthony, Joe Johnson and others below.
