New Balance chose its 576 silhouette to create a tribute sneaker to the country of France. Though only previewed here for the first time, this pair of kicks is slated to release this weekend on May 1st at the New Balance @ L?Imprimerie pop-up shop.

Rather than simply transplant a few of the country’s flag’s color throughout the shoe, Newbie went and turned the entire shoe into the flag, starting with the navy blue nubuck forefoot and toe. The mid-panel is white leather and boasts a matching N logo, while the heel portion is red suede. The national flag is sewn into the heel. If you’re in France this weekend you can grab a pair at the temporary store at the address below.

New Balance @ L?Imprimerie Source: Shoes-Up/Hypebeast

New Balance chose its 576 silhouette to create a tribute sneaker to the country of France.
