We have posted up unreleased Air Jordan shoe samples in the past, but these have got to be one of our favorites that never made it to the public. The last time that the Air Jordan 1 was released in a high cut was in 2001 but only in Japan.

Gentry Humphrey indicated that the high cut was scrapped due to potential ACL injuries and that we would never see them again, but who’s to say this wasn’t discovered until after these were produced for the US market?

Whatever the case may be, I wouldn’t mind seeing this colorway released this year even if it has 8 lace holes rather than 9. Pics thanks to Kenlu.

If these Air Jordan 1s ever come to retail, you can be sure to find them listed on the Jordan releases calendar.
