The travesty in Haiti has since faded from the headlines, but the problems experienced are far from resolved. Following the earthquake, Nike had elementary school students in South Florida design a t-shirt that proudly read “Kinb? Pa Lag?,” which loosely translates from Creole to “Hold on tight, don’t let go.” Because of the turn-around time required to produce a shoe, the charity-benefiting sneakers designed under the same circumstances are now being spotted.

The Nike Cradle Rock Low and Zoom Kobe V were chosen to receive the treatment, which features child-like drawings done in crayon. The Cradle Rock Low relies on a white leather upper with a blue midsole and stitching. The Kobe signature uses a black and red upper, with the special designs appearing on the toe and midfoot. No information has been revealed just yet as to each shoe’s release, but hopefully these will see production and serve to benefit charity.

Source: Nike Talk

The travesty in Haiti has since faded from the headlines, but the problems experienced are far from resolved.
