The last few New Balance 996s were undoubtedly designed for everyday-wear as they featured very subtle colorways. For example, the 996 Grey/Black, the patriotic-like 996 and last year’s grey/black-yellow 996 all possess simple yet stylish color schemes. On the contrary, we have spotted a very uniquely-designed 996 that is now available at overseas retailers such as Atmos.

While the aforementioned three New Balance 996s possessed leather/mesh constructions, this particular pair owns a base comprised of patent leather (heel), leather (predominance of the upper) and nylon (collar). As for the colorway, this 996 uses black patent leather on the heel, white leather on the toe area and enamel blue throughout the side panels. The latter area also contains a gradient-like design that seems to bleed into the New Balance logo. In addition, minimal, purple hints appear just above the sole and on the tongue. As stated earlier, this New Balance 996 White/Enamel Blue is now available at Atmos. Click here to view more photos.
