The New Balance 580 seems to be the silhouette of choice for collaborations and experimental designs. We last saw this shoe in two military jacket-inspired designs in the “B-3” and “MA-4”. This next design will go by “Fluro Croc,” but could very well take the name of “Grass Stains” instead, thanks to its green gradient midsole.

As mentioned above, bright green appears at numerous spots throughout the shoe, including the underside of the tongue, collar and logo surround. The remainder of the shoe is constructed with white leather, grey suede and a healthy dose of everyone’s favorite reflective material. Appearing at the heel and quarter panel N, the 3M seen here dons a crocodile print, which explains where these get their official nickname. Look for them in stores later this year.

|
