Lena Waithe might be the hardest working woman in Hollywood. The Emmy-winning writer, actress, and producer has recently announced more new projects than most can keep pace with. Her latest comes today in the form of an unscripted sneaker culture show fittingly titled You Ain’t Got These.

First announced by THR, Waithe’s budding project is part of Jeffrey Katzenberg’s Quibi, a new mobile streaming platform that will also feature content from Guillermo Del Toro and Antoine Fuqua.

The short form series will explore the depths of sneaker culture and the many subversive attachments that come along with it. Race, politics, class, gender, creativity, commerce, addiction and self-expression will orbit the overarching sneaker narrative, which speaks to the multi-billion dollar industry masquerading as a subculture.
