The move was somewhat expected by many, and came with a hefty $129.3 million transfer fee.<\/p>\n<p>In just a day, however, Juventus, by way of the&nbsp;new <strong>adidas<\/strong>&nbsp;Ronaldo kit, recouped half that transfer fee by moving more than half a million of its new star player&#8217;s jersey. Juventus, though, will net roughly $6 to $9 million of the sales. This, of course, is just the beginning of what they could potentially see from acquiring a player like Ronaldo who, beyond his play on the pitch, is a whale of an investment off it.<\/p>\n<p>Like many global athletes, Ronaldo&nbsp;often wears one brand while being sponsored by another.
