![]() In our last installment of “This Day in Sneaker History,” we remembered the founding of Blue Ribbon Sports. That company would later become the brand we all know and love: Nike. Today’s installment is about the man who founded that company, Phil Knight, as it was on February 24th in 1938 that the sportswear and business visionary was born.<\/p>\n Knight’s company has brought us all many products to cherish, while also encouraging us to achieve more of ourselves.
