Back in August, Solebox‘s collaboration with New Balance hit shelves and received a good bit of attention. The black, grey and green or red 1500s sat on a gum sole and exuded a classy appeal. Like with any shoe, there were many samples that never made it to production, and those are precisely what we’re seeing here.

3 1500 models can be seen alongside a lone 670. The loner uses a bone suede upper all over, with blue accents on the heel area. The first 1500 matches that shoe pretty well, though it traded a blue heel for a deep red tongue. Warm orange suede compliments brown leather on one shoe. The last sample most resembles the final version, as its upper is created with green, grey and black suede, as well as some very unique embroidery, defining its status as a true 1 of 1.

|
