After four months and with entries from over a plethora of different high schools across the United States, Vans<\/strong> revealed the top five entries for their ninth annual Custom Culture competition<\/a> on Monday.<\/p>\n Here are the top five designs that are still in the running for the $75,00 grand prize:<\/p>\n “The top five finalists for this year’s competition truly captured the essence of what Vans is all about \u2013creative expression,” said\u00a0Megan Klempa<\/span>, Custom Culture Program Manager in a release. “Thanks to communities across the countries, we’re able to give even more funding to these talented students and push their talents and capabilities even further.”<\/p>\n Vans will select the winner of the competition during the week of May 14. The winning school will receive the $75,000 grand prize, which is for arts education, as well as a lunch party courtesy of Vans. The four other runner-ups will receive a $10,000 check for arts education and a limited-edition gift from Vans.<\/p>\n\n
