Adam Sofa’s no stranger to hot Nike Air Force 1 iDs. Many of you will remember his first go around with the iD program at 21 Mercer, thanks to the well-received “Nike Air Force 1 iD x Air Yeezy” we saw awhile back. This time around, Adam drew inspiration from something he relies on every day, as his?Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy limits his mobility. These were designed via iChat from his home with design cues from his scooters.

The blue patent Swoosh represents the shiny blue scooter he uses, while the other one is red. To represent that, Hot Red is used on the outsole and liner. Matte Silver suede is the choice material for the construction of the uppers, which was taken from the grey of the tires his scooters ride on. The whole scheme was thought up by Adam when he was without a scooter for 2 weeks and realized his dependency on them, and explains the “No Scooters” laser engraved on the keychain.

|
