Hopefully, the majority of you picked up the must-haves on your list during 2009. If you didn’t, there is no time to dwell on the past! There is a plethora?of great sneakers that are set to make appearances in 2010; some of them are closer than you think.<\/p>\n

Therefore, our staff compiled a list of 10 sneakers we’re looking forward to in 2010. We’re sure most of you will agree as evident by the comment section of some of our post. With that said, click here to check out some of the highly anticipated releases for 2010. Which sneakers are definite purchases for you this year?<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> History (only two years) has shown us that a special Air Jordan model seems to find its way into retailers around the holiday season. Check out the last page to see what we’re thinking may return in December 2010!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

10. Air Jordan 9 Retro “Citrus”

We have heard from a few sources that 2010 will be the year of the Air Jordan 6 and the Air Jordan 9. Photos of mulitple Air Jordan 6s have surfaced on the web; however, this? “Citrus” colorway is really the only Air Jordan 9 we have seen thus far. Nonetheless, it will be a sigh of release to see this model come back after having to put up with the Air Jordan Fusion 9 in ’09.<\/p>\n

In 2010, they will launch a new upper tier program?dubbed ‘First String’.??In other words, Converse will be going for a more classy, subtle look. This upcoming collection will be comprised of three sleek, stylish designs in the form of a 3M runner style, a basic low-cut sneaker and a leather jacket?Chuck Taylor?done up in navy blue colorway and all-white.<\/p>\n

Had you ever seen so many special edition colorways of one sneaker??The?Nike Zoom LeBron VI and the Nike Zoom Kobe IV showed their faces in way too many colorways this past year. You know what’s crazy about that? We, along with the majority of you, liked almost every single one! With that said, get ready to see much more from these two sneakers and other signature basketball sneakers in 2010.<\/p>\n

7. Air Jordan Alpha 1

The Air Jordan 1 obviously started it all. Therefore,?to pay tribute to?the 25th anniversary of Jordan sneakers, JB will unveil the Air Jordan Alpha 1. This shoe instantly became a must-have after players such as Dwyane Wade, Ray Allen and Quentin Richardson unveiled it on Christmas Day. Better yet, Jordan Brand will make the Air Jordan Alpha 1 the first Jordan signature sneaker available for iD!<\/p>\n

6. Reebok Kamikaze 2010

The Reebok Kamikaze was one of, if not the most sought after basketball sneaker not named the Question or Answer. For 2010, Reebok has given this sneaker a few updates and dubbed it…well the Reebok Kamikaze 2010. Usually, updating a sneaker is not in many consumer’s best interest; however, we must applaud Reebok for making a very nice model.<\/p>\n

5. Nike Air Max 95 “Comet” + “Slate”<\/strong><\/p>\n

We saw many classic Air Max 95s return in 2009, and Nike shows no signs of slowing up on the Air Max releases for 2010. This year, sneaker lovers will get the chance to purchase the Air Max 95 “Comet” and “Slate” again. If you recall, these sneakers dropped in 2003 and 2005, respectively.<\/p>\n

4. Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Grey\/Teal

At the beginning of this month, photos of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Grey\/Teal surfaced on the web to many sneaker lover?s excitement. Many of you went as far as saying this was the best Air Griffey Max 1 yet! Nevertheless, it is a unique, fresh colorway that will be sought after when it finally drops. Look for this Air Griffey Max 1 to release some time in the spring when the baseball season begins.

As stated in our number 10 sneaker we’re looking forward to in 2010, this year will see a ton of Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 9 releases. We have already spotted a few Air Jordan 6 colorways for 2010; but this particular pair will receive a warm welcome from many Jordan heads all over. Sure, some of you wished?infrared replaced?varsity red on this shoe; however, in spite of the color change, you will see this shoe on many people’s feet later this month.<\/p>\n

Everybody went crazy for the “Eggplant” Foamposites last year and you can expect the same craze for the Copper Foamposites. DC rapper Wale teased us throughout the fall of 2009 by showing us photo after photo?of him wearing these. Don’t worry, you will get your chance in two months!<\/p>\n
