Over the last few years, Jordan Brand’s celebrated holiday offering has largely been anchored by adoring Air Jordan 11 releases. The latter months of 2018 likely won’t stray from that tradition. Taking on “Blackout” and “Prom Night” themes before being officially referenced at the Air Jordan 11 “Cap and Gown” edition, the noir centric style takes its inspiration from the shoe’s ability to play both on court and in formal settings.

Often times brand aficionados have laced up Air Jordan 11s at prom and other ‘tux and tennis’ functions. By all measures a premium iteration of the Air Jordan 11, the upper is enhanced with suede materials alongside a metal Jumpman logo and laces inspired by graduation cords.

The Air Jordan 11 “Cap and Gown” will release on May 26 and retail or $220.

Colorway: Black/Black-BlackAir Jordan 11 “Cap and Gown”
