The new technologies from Nike are going to continue to release it seems, as Torch will make its debut in 2010 in the Air Max BW Gen II. The Air Classic BW is getting an upgrade, and a redesign, in the form of this new tech material and styling cues.

Slits have been added to the forefoot similar to the Free sole, and mesh appears throughout for breathability. The Torch material works to not only lighten a shoe, similar to Flywire, but it also aids in breathability. This particular pair uses an all nubuck upper in black. The shoe itself was designed around next summer’s World Cup and world class soccer players helped to design these for pre- and post-match wear. Keep an eye out for these early- to mid-next year.

|
