Originally released back in 2003 in conjunction with LeBron James’ rookie season in the NBA, the Nike Air Zoom Generation now stands as the first ever retro from the King’s signature collection. And while several of the OG colorways released throughout 2017, this year will see the release of the famed “Wheat” colorway James donned back in 2004.

Worn during the 2004 NBA Rookie Challenge during NBA All-Star Weekend, the famed original colorway is reported to return this February during All-Star festivities in Los Angeles. This first look at the Nike Air Zoom Generation “Wheat” appears true to the elder model from the tongue branding down to the nostalgic chrome bumpers.

No release details for this retro AZG have been announced but we’ll certainly know more soon as All-Star Weekend is fast approaching.
