In what has been a monumental 20th anniversary for the Nike Air Max 97<\/a> and a breakout year for the Air VaporMax<\/a>, 2017 was also a year when Nike visibly adopted the sole-swap mentality. Next year the Swoosh will take even greater strides forward, starting with this Nike Air VaporMax 97<\/strong>.<\/p>\n A hybrid of the highest order, the model highlights an Air Max 97 upper – seen here in beige – with translucent VaporMax tooling below. Now if this design seems familiar it’s because we’ve kind of seen it before, back in March, as a part of Nike’s Vote Forward campaign. Designer Artemy Lebedev and Creative Director Bunyamin Aydin showcased a creation similar to this one and it seems, at least in part, that their progressive idea sparked this upcoming release.<\/p>\n This Nike Air VaporMax 97 is reported to release next year.<\/p>\n Nike Air VaporMax 97 “Beige”\n
