While earlier reports pinned the release of the 1988 original Air Max 1 “Aqua” for mid November, that time came and went without the shoe landing at retailers. But with the year coming to a close and more previews of the shoe littering the web, its picture comes into clearer view today. As does its release date.<\/p>\n
Set to drop at select European retailers on December 16, this anniversary edition of the Nike Air Max 1<\/a> is one of the few OGs that didn’t release when the shoe first debuted in March 1987.
