Next up in the ever-growing list of Reebok Pump collaborations is this pair from Spanish shop 24 Kilates. At first glance it appears that the retailer’s design team did nothing at all to a pair of original black Pumps, but further investigation will show that this sneaker pays tribute while still moving forward with its design.

Rather than opt for black leather, the uppers are made with suede, keeping the look of the original in tact. Transparent material was used in places to show off the inner pump bubbles running throughout, creating a “window” into the inner-workings of the Pump system. According to Pol Fanlo, “24 KILATES? main objective is to make an act of respect and admiration to a system that represented a revolution in the sneaker world. Respecting the original colours and showing the system to everyone to admire, a tribute with sense.”

Like the other collaborations we’ve seen, 31 individually-numbered pairs will be available on November 20th at the 24 Kilates store. That being said, what do you think of these collaborative sneakers? Head to the comments section and weigh in.

|
