To help kick-off the 100th season of play in the National Hockey League, adidas today debuts a new campaign that celebrates a love for the game and excitement for the 2017-18 season.<\/p>\n
The short clip entitled “What If Hockey”<\/strong> features a wealth of players and personalities, including reigning NHL<\/strong> MVP Edmonton Oliers superstar Connor McDavid.\u00a0Brent Burns of the San Jose Sharks, the 2016-17 James Norris Memorial award winner as the NHL\u2019s best defenseman, also makes an appearance.<\/p>\n Evoking emotion, imagination, challenging the status quo, and solidifying efforts to change the game, \u00a0“What if…” poses the question of what hockey is, can be, and more importantly, where the sport has the potential to go.<\/p>\n Working in conjunction with the start of the 2017-18 NHL season, the adidas clip will air starting today in Canada and the U.S. on Sports Net and ESPN, respectively, and run through the remainder of the month.
