Earlier in the week, the National Football League announced that players would finally be able to wear custom cleats during games without fines.

While we’ve seen a ton of heat during practices/pre-game warm ups, we’re finally going to see some of the league’s best athletes in the best customs.

Tyrann “Honey Badger” Mathieu, a swagged-out defensive back for the Arizona Cardinals, recently received a few pairs of customs courtesy of Marvin Baroota from So Legit Customs.

The third-year safety has made himself a prominent threat in the league and embraces it with his nickname “Honey Badger” and his mantra “Savage SZN.” Baroota took all of that as inspiration for these fire cleats.

The black and grey cleats with gold accents pay respect to Mathieu’s hair while the all-red cleats pay homage to the Arizona Cardinals along with the Honey Badger’s slogan. The desert-inspired cleat are inspired by The Grand Canyon State that is Arizona with a cactus and of course, a honey badger.
