People often tend to excel in what they’re good at. For Michael Jordan, that was playing basketball. For LaVar Ball, well, it’s more like talking about basketball.

In one of his many rants, in which he’s thrown jabs at Shaq and several other NBA Hall of Famers, he proclaims that he could beat Michael Jordan in a game of one-on-one. In fact, he said he’d make Jordan “cry.” Yikes.

MJ finally responded to Ball’s outlandish claims at his Flight Camp in Santa Barbara, CA during a Q+A session.

“You got to understand the source, ” Jordan remarked. “I think he played college, maybe?” Jordan went on to discuss LaVar’s dismal 2.2 points per game average and, finally, threw the haymaker we were all hoping he would.

“It doesn’t deserve a response, but I’ma give it you because you asked the question. I don’t think he could beat me if I was one-legged.”

Check out MJ’s hilarious response to LaVar Ball below (beginning at the 1:19 mark).
